The report is due on June 21 and will be used to gauge the state of Canadian economy after strong May labor market report. In case consumer spending on retail sales shows the forecast 1.8% growth - the USDCAD will get a bearish boost.

GBPUSD: United Kingdom Retail Sales report for May is an important event for forex markets. The UK Office for National Statistics will release the Retail Sales report on June 24. In case the UK retail sales declines less than the expected 0.6% over month after increasing 1.4% the previous month - the GBPUSD will get a bullish boost.
