Over the past 7 days, the US dollar index has shown a strong growth. Investors expect the Fed to increase the rate to 1% from 0.5% at the May 4 meeting. US GDP fell in the 1st quarter of 2022 by (-1.4%). This happened for the first time since the 2nd quarter of 2020, since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic.
